The RADER story
Our beginning
In 1998, Chris Rader brought together two powerful forces: his deep roots in the lumber industry and his technology expertise. His mission was simple: to help lumber companies become more efficient and profitable through smarter systems and data-driven decisions.
The results were impressive. In four years, Chris helped one company grow their sales from $100 million to $650 million, increasing profits by $12.5 million. Another company scaled from $10 million to $100 million in sales, adding $10 million in profits. Fortune 500 giants soon acquired both companies.
In 2002, Chris hired his first employee and launched Rader Solutions (RADER). He then began to lay the groundwork for a more expansive technology business — and the company started to grow.
Our growth
Since the company’s establishment in 2002, RADER has branched out far beyond the lumberyard. Today, we serve over 130 clients across 21 states, supporting various industries with a team of 40+ people and growing.
As our clients’ needs evolved, so did we, expanding our services to include advanced technical support, modern communication tools, strategic tech planning, and robust cybersecurity. Through every shift in the tech landscape, we’ve remained grounded while helping businesses grow stronger, smarter, and more secure.
